I have walked with the Lord for over 25 years. In the past couple of years since I started taking the Leading through Ministry Classes (formerly Prayer Counseling), I can positively say that I have taken back my life and stopped the assault and outright attack that Satan has had on my life. I am no longer living a defeated walk, but a victorious and exciting walk day by day with my Lord. I KNOW that because I now understand more about the strategies meant to bring me down and live defeated. I have even had victory over an area of my life that started in the beginning of my life with my mom. That foundation was (based on) a lie and I had built on it for 47 years! I have now brought truth to those areas and can see and feel how God has given me a backbone based on His Truth and His Love. This stuff is easy to say, but not so easy to do. Working through each area, trusting the Lord and His body and coming with a "reckless abandonment" to all He has for me in this life -- I have found it!! A transformed heart, and freedom that makes me dance! Really dance!
I did not know what to expect from Georgette's ministry, and specifically these classes. I was surprised at the simplicity of the training and how effective it is. It's amazing! During my personal ministry time, the ladies asked questions and allowed the Spirit to move. I thought I had already visited the issues we got to, but through this ministry they let the light of Christ show the deep roots that had been established. Prior to coming to the class I had been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and my spine had collapsed. I needed surgery and had to take a lot of medications to manage the pain. I was taking pain medication when I started the class. I never asked for healing of my disease, but after my personal ministry time I noticed that I was not requiring as much paid medication to be comfortable. After the 6 weeks of class I was not taking any medications! I have a new understanding of how I opened the doors to the enemy and the power of forgiveness.
I didn't have specific expectations for this class series - I was willing for God to use it as He willed. I was surprised to receive so much personal healing. I got a revelation of the truth about myself which has sent me on a long and wonderful journey of inner healing. One of the most significant experiences was during my personal ministry time where the work that was started with the class is still ongoing. During the class God revealed to me that I believed a lie from the enemy that love must be painful. As the women prayed for me I saw that this was a negative teaching that was passed down from many generations. It was not clear to me because it was disguised as my spiritual heritage. In light of the fact that God is love, the revelation of what love is has changed both my perspective on others as well as my relationship with God. This is just a small part of the ways He is changing me!

Georgette is a woman after God's heart. She's a networker, an intercessor, an evangelist, very prophetic, and a tireless keeper of the faith. She's the type of woman who is "naturally supernatural" as she goes through the everyday functions of life. Maybe most important of all, she's a teacher and a "mother" to those who are new in the move of Holy Spirit in this present day. She's able to take Kingdom principles and relate them to everyday experiences we all have. I feel very honored to write a few words about Georgette O'Brien. Georgette and I met in 2006 at a Deborah Conference in Brooklyn, New York. We were quickly connected and became very good friends. Not long after, she was invited to speak at the Christian Cultural Society, one of the clubs of the United Nations Staff Recreation Council. She spoke at various occasions at the Christian Club and is known to the group as one who edifies, strengthens and encourages. Her last message on fear helped many of us to stand strong, to learn to walk with the Lord and to pursue His love. She travels almost every year at her own expense to come and share with the group what the Lord has put on her heart. We love Georgette, and pray the Lord continues to bless her!

I first met Georgette O'Brien through my wife, who asked that we invite her to minister to the women at our church. Georgette first came to Hope Chapel in 2007 with a message of love and healing that encouraged the women and prepared their hearts for personal ministry. Then Georgette and her team of prayer warriors prayed and prophesied over each one. Tears and smiles and hugs were abundant as healing and words of destiny and vision were ministered in Jesus' name. Georgette is a funnel of the Spirit. She is a teacher, and she is an encourager to challenge others to go higher and deeper with their Creator, God.
